Why you should definitely take a romantic holiday in 2014
Romantic Get Aways
Before you decide that you’re not in need of a romantic break and that the week you’ve got booked off to catch up with the housework is enough, take a look at why we think you should definitely take a romantic holiday.
You can be spontaneous
No plans for the weekend? Then there’s your perfect opportunity to get reacquainted with your old friend, spontaneity. Do you find yourself longing for those days when you didn’t have to plan everything? Then just to do it, pack a bag, jump in the car and get out of here. It doesn’t stop there either, while you’re on holiday you don’t have to worry about being home in time for dinner or getting an early night, you can just go and do whatever you want to!
Quality time together
Life is hectic. There definitely aren’t enough hours in the day and we spend a lot of the time running around here, there and everywhere. When was the last time the two of you simply sat together, watched a film and drank good wine? If you can’t remember, then you probably need a holiday.
Romance isn’t dead
You could always book a cottage holiday as a complete surprise for your partner. That would definitely score you some real brownie points and make you an ultra-romantic.
Reignite the spark
The stresses of everyday life can often take a toll on relationships and without noticing we fall into a bit of a rut. Forget all that, escape to the countryside or maybe the coast and reignite that passion in your relationship. Go on, you know it’s hiding in there somewhere!
Discover somewhere new
The possibilities are endless and the great thing is that there are some truly beautiful places in the UK so you don’t even have to get on a plane to enjoy a romantic holiday together. Seek out a cute little fishing village in Cornwall, escape to a rural Scottish island or discover picture-perfect villages in the Cotswold’s.
