| Holiday at the touch of a button |
It was said that today at any one time there are over 600,00 people on planes. There has been very little set backs in growth to the tourism industry, although the September 11 and other terrorist threats along with natural disasters have of course affected numbers. These however have only been location specific and only lasted for a certain period of time before numbers returned. Even in some cases, like the sunarmi in Thailand, a major increase of numbers was experiences post disaster.The world has seen a massive increase in tourism over the last few decades, most specially in European countries which show a huge increase in short vacation holidays from 3 - 6 days.
